Mushroom Biryani


Ingredients:

Mushrooms - 1/2 kg
Onions - 2
Tomato - 1
Basmathi rice - 2 cups
Oil or ghee - 1/2 cup
Soya sauce - 2 tsps
Grated ginger -  1 1/2 tsps
Garlic pods - 4
Green chilli - 2
Cinnamon - small piece
Cardamom - 2
Cloves - 2
Coriander powder - 1 1/2 tsps
Mint leaves - few
Salt - to taste
Lemon - 1/2 piece

Directions:

Clean and soak rice for an hour.Then drain water and keep rice aside.
In a pressure cooker.fry this rice for few mins in ghee.
Chop mushrooms.Grind cardamom,cloves,ginger,garlic and make paste.
In pan heat ghee and fry the above made paste.Then fry onions.Now add mushroom pieces,tomato pieces and fry for 10 mins.Then add soya sauce.
Now add 3 1/2 cups water and boil them in cooker.when they are hot add fried rice.Add this gravy,coriander powder,salt,mint leaves and keep lid.cook for 20 mins till the rice is done.
Sprinkle lemon juice before serving.
