Chettinad Mushroom Curry

Ingredients:

Mushroom pieces - 2 cups
Tamarind paste - 3 tsps
Salt - to taste
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Bengal gram - 1 tsp
Pepper powder - 1 tsp
Oil - 2 tsps
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Red chilli - 2
Curry leaves - 2

Directions:

Fry bengal gram in a tsp oil and grind along with pepper powder and garam masala.
In a non-stick pan heat oil,fry mustard seeds,curry leaves,red chilli.Then add mushroom pieces and fry.now add salt and keep lid.
When it is cooked add tamarind paste and cook for 10 mins on low flame.At the end add above ground mixture and cook for another 5 mins and its done.
