Munagaku Kurma(drumstick leaves)


Ingredients:

Munagakulu(Drumstick leaves) - 2 cups
Green gram - 1/2 cup
Carrot - 1
Beans - 5-6
Potato - 1
Ginger - small piece
Green chilli - 3
Curry leaves - 2
hing - a pinch
Turmeric powder - a pinch
cumin & mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp each
Salt - to taste
Lemon juice - 2 tsps
Oil - 2 tsps
Dry red chilli - 3

Directions:

Finely chop drumstick leaves.
Soak green gram in water for about 2 hours.
Peel potato and grate it,also grate carrot.
In a cooker heat oil,add carrot,soaked green gram,beans,green chilli.Fry for 4 mins and add drumstick leaves,ginger,potato and 2 cups hot water.
Then add turmeric powder,salt and keep lid.
After we get 3 whistles add lemon juice.
In a pan heat oil,add hing,dry red chilli,mustard & cumin seeds,curry leaves and mix well,
Now add boiled kurma in to this pan and mix well.
