Ingredients:
Bitter gourd - 5
Dry red chilli - 8
Coriander seeds - 2 tsps
Jaggery - 50 grms
Cinnamon - small piece
Black gram - 1 tsp
Grated coconut - 1 tsp
Oil - 8 tsps
Lemon - 1
Turmeric powder - a pinch
Salt - to taste
Directions:
Clean bitter gourd and chop them.Remove seeds and dry in sun by mixing with salt and lemon a day before cooking.
On the cooking day,In a pan heat oil and fry black gram,coriander seeds,dry red chilli,cinnamon and keep aside.
When cooled grind in a mixer and make powder.
In another pan heat oil,fry dried bitter gourd pieces,salt,turmeric powder.
Cook on low flame by keeping lid.
When the pieces are soft add the above ground powder,jaggery,grated coconut and turn off stove.
